About Us

Silverbell Irrigation & Drainage District (SIDD) is a political subdivision of the State of Arizona formed in 1968 as a Special Taxing District by the Pima County Board of Supervisors. SIDD is a nonprofit utility with a five (5) member Board of Directors. Its sole purpose is to provide water to its customers spanning Pima and Pinal Counties.

SIDD is organized with the authority, rights, and privileges to distribute water to all within its service area pursuant to what is now Chapter 19 of Title 48 of the Arizona Revised Statutes.
